Sherie Rene Scott (born February 8, 1967) is an American actress, singer, and writer who is a co-founder of Grammy Award-winning Sh-K-Boom Records and its second imprint Ghostlight Records and has performed in numerous Off-Broadway and Broadway musicals and plays, and appears on numerous solo and original cast recordings.
She originated the role of Amneris in Aida for which she won the Clarence Derwent Award for Most Promising Female. She also originated the role of Ursula in the musical The Little Mermaid for which she received a Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical.
